triangles placed point to point, each square edged by multi-colored
bands of geometric designs. Narrow border of metallic thread around
outer edge. At top, a row of solidly embroidered alternating squares
of multi-colored silk and metallic thread. Unlined. Typical Pashtun

Brief description: Soft
rectangular bag, similar on both sides. Embroidered in yellow and
beige silk on red background fabric. Mirror in small central
triangle, surrounded by cursive lines and figure 8s. Larger triangle
bordered by looped motifs. Bottom points curve outward to enclose
small mirrors. Circular motifs at sides. Unlined. Typical Pashtun
design.

glass beads, top edged in solid row of blue beads. Embroidered in
orange silk and metallic thread on red silk background fabric.
Central rectangular panel with cursive embroidery, border of metallic
thread. Outer border with running cursive design with border of
metallic thread. Lined in red fabric. Typical Pashtun design.

and design. Edged in solid row of white, orange and blue glass beads.
Embroidered in orange and red silk and metallic thread on purple silk
background fabric. Two medallions in center rectangular panel with
radiating spokes framed in metallic thread and similar radiating
spokes, with border of metallic thread. Band of running cursive
design with border of orange silk and metallic thread. Opening lined
with red silk. Body unlined. Typical Pashtun design.
