description: A
Khirgiz yurt screen made of individually wrapped straws in red,
yellow, green, black and white wool held together by rows of string
to form an overall carpet-like pattern of traditional ram horn,
floral and geometric motifs. Along the top a narrow band of
black-and-white and metallic patchwork with a black fringe. At left
an unfinished section of bare straw.
