Brief description: Life-size model of a duck, made from papier-mâché, painted in different colors and varnished. The present object is used as a lamp with a build-in electrical light. Originally such ‘ducks’ where used in Afghanistan as baits for duck hunting.

Provenance: Bought from an Afghan dealer in Basel early 1990s.
