Brief description: Square wall hanging in two broad, two narrow panels of ikat, vertical bands of various motifs in green, purple, burgundy, blue, white and pink. Edged in orange cotton. Lined in orange and white flowered cotton. Uzbek.

Condition: Very worn, patched, soiled, fragile

Provenance: Bought in Afghanistan in 1976

Brief description: Square patchwork wall hanging with velvet, ikat, cotton, silk and flannel patches of varying shapes, colors and designs, large diamonds edged with cross stitching; outer border of ikat, two loops at upper corners. Lined in red flowered cotton print. Uzbek.

Measurement: L. 91 cm W. 91 cm Weight 310 g

Condition: Good

Provenance: Bought in Afghanistan in 1976
