Brief description: Small prayer rug in natural tones of madder and undyed wool, row of small guls in center, niche with tree motifs on beige field, horn motif at top; border of double-horn motifs. Ersari weave.

Condition: Worn, fringes badly damaged

Brief description: Round flattened powder horn made of wood covered in leather, around rim band of yellow metal with embossed medallions, in center of outer surface circular embossed metal decoration and around edges two rows of cut-out rosettes. Leather loop on underside.

Condition: Worn, tarnished

Origin/Period: Afghanistan / 10th-12th C.

Brief description: Oil lamp on three splayed feet with indication of toes, round hollowed copper body with inscription around edge, long bronze neck, rectangular decorated oil well and small wick-holder at one side. Ghaznavid.

Measurements: H. 35 cm Weight 1420 g

Condition: Worn, tarnished, green corrosion on upper half
