|K 04-1| Eine Nahaufnahme des Haupteingangs zum kherqa-Heiligtums, in dem der Mantel des Propheten aufbewahrt wird, vom inneren Moscheehof her gesehen (aus derselben Richtung wie K 03). Im Vordergrund rechts ein Wasserbecken für rituelle Waschungen, an dessen Rand drei Männer hocken. Hinter ihnen die mit einer Dach-Balustrade versehene offene Gebetshalle und der Haupteingang unter der Plattform, die von einem ‘neugotischen’ Pavillon unter einer indischen Kuppel gekrönt wird, von wo aus der Muezzin die Gläubigen zum Gebet ruft. ♦♦♦ A close-up of the main entrance to the kherqa Shrine where the Mantle of the Prophet is kept, as seen from the inner courtyard of the mosque (from the same direction as K 03). In the foreground to the right is a pool for ablutions with three men perched on the edge. They sit before the open prayer hall with its roofed balustrade, what Mir Mohsen Pishini described as „vestibules“ (dalan-ha), and the southern and main gateway into the complex crowned by a ‘gothic’ gazebo under an Indian cupola from where the muezzin will call the faithful to prayer.
