|AEE 048-1| Noch prächtiger als im Obergeschoss sind die Wandmalereien im Erdgeschoss des Moscheebaus. Auch diese dürften bereits um 1970 nicht mehr bestanden haben, als Enzmann die Anlage besuchte und beschrieb. Der Schaden im linken Sockelbereich zeigt, dass es sich nicht um glasierte Wandplatten, sondern um Wandmalerei auf einem Gipsmörtel handelt. ♦♦♦ The painted decoration, in geometric and stylized floral patterns, to the walls of the main prayer space are unusually elaborate, and survive in parts. The damage in the left part of the dado shows that even the socle is not covered with glazed faience, but painted on white gypsum plaster.

|AEE 049-1| Auch die Wände der engen Grabkammer sind bemalt. Das Grab des Heiligen ist mit kniehohen, ornamentierten und beschrifteten Steinplatten eingefasst. Die ‘schöne Marmortafel’ am Kopfende ist kaum zu erkennen, denn die reduzierte Beleuchtung liess 1940 keine besseren Aufnahmen zu. 2020 sind die Wände weiss und die pompöse Grabeinfassung erstrahlt im hellen Licht. ♦♦♦ The tomb of the saint is surrounded by a knee-high fence of carved stone plates. The decoration on the tombstone is hardly recognizable. While the internal walls of the mausoleum were elaborately decorated, as in the preyer space, this has subsequently been over-painted and the orginal restrained stone grave enclosure in Engler’s photo replaced by a modern confection of marble. Only fragment of what might have been the gravestone survives.
