ELD 108 — Watering a Horse near Camp Khaisar

Watercolour sketch of a river flowing through a wooded landscape (tamarisk trees = khaisar), with bare hills in the background. In the left foreground stands an Anglo-Indian soldier in knee-deep water, holding his horse on the bridle.
Unlike ELD 001-107 this sketch was not photo-lithographed.
