Das kherqa-Heiligtum, in dem der Mantel des Propheten Mohammad aufbewahrt wird, von der auf seiner Ost-Seite daran entlang führenden Strasse her gesehen. Am rechten Bildrand das Heiligtum wie auf K 2. Die Aufnahme entstand in der Regenzeit des Vorfrühlings. Die Strasse im Vordergrund links ist morastig und wird durch einen gemauerten Graben vom ca. 6 m breiten Vorplatz der Moschee abgetrennt.

The kherqa Sanctuary, in which the mantle of the Prophet Muhammad is kept, as seen from the street along the east side. The main part of the photograph is taken up by the vestibules (dalan-ha) mentioned by Mir Muhsin Pishini as quoted by Fufalza’i. On the right margin of the picture is the shrine as shown in K 2. This picture was taken in the rainy season of early spring. The road in the left foreground is muddy and bordered by a brick ditch, about 6 meters from the wall of the forecourt of the mosque.
