Contrary to the original legend, the direction of the shadows (especially on AEE 051-5) gives evidence that these pictures were taken in the later afternoon, showing the visitors of the nowruz Festival at the ziyarat-e sakhi taking their way home over the saddle of kotal-e aliabad to the northern parts of Kabul.
