Brief description: Short-necked bowed lute. Resonance chamber covered in hide with aperture cut at top. Small leather belt around lower part of chamber, through which bridge is affixed. Three principal strings in gut, 10 in metal. Neck ornately inlaid in nacre. Four large and 11 smaller tuning pegs. Wooden tuning implement attached (L. 12 cm)

Tapering ring foot, trumpet-shaped faceted neck and spout. Engraved floral motifs on both sides, under handle, around base of neck and base of spout. Decoration running up spout inlaid with black composition. Style of Khorasan.

Ornate bud-like form at pouring lip.

Entire surface engraved with floral, animal and human motifs with black composition on hatched background. Raised design in center of sides. Spout ending in bud-like form. Neck opening a flat bronze rim with scalloped edge.

Brief description: Kelim bag woven as one long piece, folded over and sewn up two sides, leaving several inches between pockets. All flat weave except for a narrow strip of pile at lower edge of each pocket. Thick black wool braid running along entire length of each side and ending in tassels at each corner. Back is white tufted with small black and red dots. Front dark red with rows of white, yellow and black motifs. Exposed strip between pockets embroidered in red, yellow and white chevrons. Openings of both pockets have black wool loops for closing

Brief description: Very large kelim bag woven as one piece and folded over to form two deep pockets. Pockets sewn along both sides with black and white braid running entire length of bag. Back of bag brown and beige stripes. Front a series of plain purple bands between bands of various widths of orange, white, brown and green designs. Large brown and orange cotton loops run along top of one pocket and are passed through slits along the top of the other pocket. They are interlaced, or a stick is run through the loops, to close the bag.

Square fulcrum rod with round ornate openwork tab at one end and small square knob at other. Secondary hook suspended from fulcrum. Small bulbous brass weight with flat base. Three tiers leading to short cylindrical neck. Iron loop holding flat iron hook fixed into neck.
