Brief description: Very loose-weave almost square Baluch pile carpet. Narrow fringed kelim border at top and bottom. Field of small guls. Predominant colors: indigo, madder and dark brown. Most probably front of a bag.

Measurements: L 66 cm W. 56 cm (excl. fringe)

Condition: Worn

Brief description: Turkoman pile tent bag with long orange and black fringe at bottom. Back plain flat weave. Rows of symmetrical geometric patterns of squares within diamonds with rectangles.

Measurements: W. 98 cm H. 35 cm (excl. fringe)

Condition: Very worn, fringe missing

Origin/Period: Afghanistan / 20th C.

Brief description: Large Hazara tent bag, used as cushion. Opening with loops at narrow end and kelim border. Orange, black, brown and madder fringe at other end. Tassels along both longer sides. Back purple flat weave with black stripes. Field of geometric lozenge-shaped guls. Predominant colors: madder, blue, black, brown and white.

Measurements: L. 93 cm W. 65 cm

Condition: Worn
