Es scheint, dass Abd al-Samad weitere Aufnahmen der Arbeiten in Kandahar gemacht hat, die aber nicht in das für Emir Habibullah Khan zusammengestellte Album eingefügt wurden. In den Sammlungen von Emil Rybitschka und Werner Otto von Hentig sind Bilder enthalten, die vermutlich ebenfalls 1908 von Abd al-Samad aufgenommen worden sind, aber im Album fehlen. Auch im Bildband ‚Afganistan‘ von Niedermayer und Diez sind mehrere seiner Aufnahmen enthalten (siehe PDF unter "Weitere Informationen").

It seems that Abd al-Samad took further photographs of the work done in Kandahar, which were not included in the album compiled for the Emir. In the collections of Emil Rybitschka and Werner Otto von Hentig are some photographs, which were most probably also taken by Abd al-Samad in 1908, but were not included in the album. Also, in the famous coffe-table book “Afganistan”, published by Niedermayer/Diez in 1924, are several photographs which had been taken by Abd al-Samad (see PDF under "More Information").
